Sass Studios was started in 2005 when bluebug, Modesty and Animetor Lily decided to try to collaborate on printing a comic anthology. Since then we've branched off into other projects and mostly contribute idividually.

...Modesty is one of the founders and current manager of Sass Studios site. She enjoys writing, animating, playing and designing video games, and of course web comics. You can also find her active at Comic Dish as a co-host on the podcast "The Dish" and a forum moderator.

bluebug
...bluebug is the other founder of Sass Studios and the inspiration for starting the Dark Souls Anthology. She draws artistic inspiration from a range of artists from Takahashi Rumiko and Watsuki Nobuhiro to Pixar and Disney. She also writes urban fantasy. Her current web comic is the graphic novel Kurenai Mashin.

...Lily was recruited to join the Dark Souls Anthology project and has been here ever since. She works diligently on her online comic MQ and is crazy about plushies.

...Eunice was recruited for our abandoned attempt at a 2nd comic anthology but stayed on for our Artbook. She is an excellent ink artist and stays true to her manga roots. She has many webcomics online.
